Cattery Policies and Guidlines

We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for both our Maine Coon kittens and their new families. Please carefully review our policies and guidelines to ensure a smooth and positive experience.

 1. Return/Refund Policy  

 •    Refunds: Kittens may only be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the kitten is in the same condition as when it was sold.    

 •    Pick-Up: The kitten must be picked up no later than 5 days after the scheduled pick-up date. If this timeline is not met, a $20 daily fee will be added to the purchase price.     
•    Health Check: Upon receiving the kitten, the buyer is required to take the kitten for a wellness check within 72 hours. This check will activate the 1-year health guarantee. 

 2. Health and Veterinary Care     
•    Illness within Two Weeks: If the kitten becomes ill within two weeks of leaving our care, the breeder reserves the right to arrange for treatment or direct the buyer to a specific veterinarian.     
•    Health Guarantee: The kitten is sold with a 1-year health guarantee against congenital defects. If any health issue arises during this period, a veterinary examination will be conducted to determine whether the condition was pre-existing or developed after the sale.     
•    Necropsy for Death: In the event of death within the warranty period, a necropsy will be required to determine the cause of death. Following the necropsy results and statements from the examining veterinarian, the buyer may be entitled to financial compensation, up to the original cost of the kitten, excluding shipping fees. 

3. Kitten Care and Ownership     

•    Indoor Pet Only: Our Maine Coon kittens are sold as indoor pets only. They are not suited for outdoor living and should be kept indoors to ensure their safety and well-being.     
•    Declawing: Under no circumstances will a Maine Coon kitten be sold with the intention of being declawed. Declawing is a painful and harmful procedure that we do not condone. 

 4. Additional Terms     
•    The breeder reserves the right to make decisions regarding the kitten’s health and treatment in cases of illness or injury, including selecting the veterinarian for care.     
•    Buyers are encouraged to ensure their new kitten has a safe and nurturing environment, and to contact us if there are any questions or concerns about their kitten’s health or well-being. By purchasing a kitten from our cattery, you agree to abide by these policies. We are dedicated to the health and happiness of our Maine Coons and are here to assist you with any questions you may have throughout the life of your kitten.
